Well, I didn't think it would be this tough to locate fittings for an 85 toyota 4x4 pu power steering box. Anyone have some laying around they can spare? PS conversion on my 66FJ40. Using Saginaw GM box (got that fitting). All the hose places say they can't (or won't) get the fittings. Well, if you got any or can give advice how to get this done, thanks!

You're running the saginaw pump and toyota mini PSbox, Right? I'm running the same setup, and got the transition hose from JT outfitters. It's the only place I know that has the hose pre-made..... Or, you could hit a pick-n-pull and just get the fittings and have your hose guy re-use them.

look up earls on line, they have almost everything you might need to make your own hoses.

Thanks, I'll try them...nothing to be found at the local junkyards here. :(

Amanda, How the hell are you? Have not see you out in a while. Buy an FJ 60 PS pressure side hose from NAPA. Around $45. All the fitting work with Saginaw to mini box.
This is about the 10th time I have posted the same info!

I stopped by a local NAPA that specializes in big diesels. They side they could built me a hose for under $10. Oh, I am running the same set up on my p.s. conversion.

Yeah...called them. They're great in that they really have just about everything, but if you can't tell them exact sizes, they can't or won't reference out anything. Their customer service is really non-existent as they seem to cater to a wholesale industry type market. They have done a bit of work for me tho and I have spent plenty $$ there, got the wrong size hose about three times because I didn't double check at the counter. OD was good, but ID was wrong etc. The main reason for this thread was to try to find exact sizes of fittings to tell them, or take some in and have hoses made. Thanks!

Doing great, david. Been under the Cruiser... Thanks for sharing that bit of wisdom for the tenth time...some of us are a bit slow! Can you confirm that the saginaw pump fitting will work for the return line? Seems I could just flip one of those around and clamp to pump end, buy the fj60 one and be good? Do you know the length of the fj60 pressure hose?
