hey guys,

What kind of parts do I need to do the steering when I do the D60 in the front? I will only have a 4" lift on the truck. Is there any way I could keep the stock like system? I really don't want to get any damn bumpsteer out of the front. Plus the front axle moves around a bit with the wristed arm, so I don't think that a drag-link mounted on a hy-steer arm will work.

james duff's product engineering guy used 78 or 79 f-150 steering linkage on his full width front 60 on his EB...

The stock 78/79 F350 use cross over steering right? If so you will be able to bolt up the stock drag link right to your pitman arm.

I did this to mine until I put on a stronger tie rod...but my axle was a 92' and my frame was an 86'.

Cool! That will be so easy if I can just use the steering off of my D44 for the front. I can always beef that up later if I need to. Just to have something to get it driving after the swap will be nice.

I am just going to have a junk D44 housing ( cracked ) c-bushing mounts cut off and bored out to fit over the D60 housing. Anyone see a problem with this?
