Should be an interesting weekend, going to lead a group of people to the Lost World. I have been there 3 times with my 33 x 15.50's, we'll see how a narrower but taller tire does.

Sweet! Think I like the sx's better though. Do you have any plans on stretching the wheelbase out cause lookin pretty short with those 35's! Are those the special compound claws?

No, Marks sticky mickeys are 37s.

Why Claws?? The Swampers seem to be the better(tougher) tire for your area trails.

Hey, those 'Claws look good on your rig! I Like black beadlocks.;) I don't know if you'll like the tread, but I think you'll like the size.

Those aren't the 37's. That's the most air they had in months.
Any word on when Mark will wheel again:question:

Because I borrowed them. Can't pass up an offer to try a bigger tire before I lay down some cash.

Lol, the air pressures were all over the place! I pumped them up to see which one leaks. Sadly, with them aired down to the point of really bulging I am back to where I am with my SX's at trail pressure, so I am not going to get any ground clearance benefits, but I am betting they grip the rocks better. Marks hadn't even started on his rig yet, he's been real busy at the shop.

After taking some measurements I don't think I would need a wheelbase stretch. I am one inch taller with 12psi, drop that down to 8 or so and I am only about 1/4" taller than what I was with my 33's. I think they just fill the wheel wells a little more.

Better approach angle too.

I'd lay money you will shred the sidewalls, tho :nuke:

Since these aren't mine I won't be running anything hardcore. I know a couple trails with pillowy rocks :D I am not sure how old these tires are but Mark hasn't babied them, there are a lot of cuts and missing patches on the sidewalls.

You haven't seen Mark wheel. He is a master of destruction. No problems with the sidewalls. That's about the only thing decent about the Claws. Bias ply that is.

neither Mark or I have cut a sidewall in 2 years. I don't know how the Mickeys got such a bad rep. about sidewall strength.( maybe because we are wussies?) Chris, I think you should go with the 37x13.50-15 claw.
