i have a 87 xj with a 6"rubicon express lift, 4.88"gears 33"tsl's,front and rear qiuck locs,prp racing seats,prp 5 point harness's, c-rok steering plate,flow master exhaust,3 link system.i just got my friend a cherokee off lil rich,but he thinks you need all this crazy stuff to crawl,i just want some peaple to tell him he doesnt need alot to go through the con' or other trails

good luck with the build, tell him to be easy and take the EASY TRAILS until he has the cash to get his shit where it needs to be, depending on his level of off road insanity he may not need to get all that "crazy stuff". i wheeled my stock scout around places people w/ modified jeeps couldn't/wouldn't. it all depends on where the driver gets his or her most pleasure at the time, tehn the inspiration comes to get the better parts, chances are once he gets behind the wheel he will be pleased with what most on this board would consider an access road.
