I am considering selling the 350 out of my 94 toyota and putting a big block in it. I have a lot of money invested in this motor but I know it isn't worth nearly what I have in it. Here are the specs:

Freshly built with only 600 miles on it and 95% of that was onroad. The motor was custom built by a local racing shop. Everything except block/rods/crank is pretty much new. It has not been over 4000 rpm yet.

1980 350 4 bolt mains, bored .030 over. balanced rotating assembly, all new bearings and gaskets, new 9.5:1 forged pistons, new Vortec heads with corvette valve springs, new edelbrock performer rpm intake and new edelbrock 600cfm carb with offroad kit (this carb runs great off-camber), electronic distributer with vac advance kit, new holley fuel pump, edelbrock roller timing chain, new hi flow oil pump, new Isky mega-cam 270 ad. dur., new zz4 crate motor valve covers, new ARP hi grade rod bolts, new hi-flow short water pump, new 150 amp alternator.

I am sure I am leaving a lot of stuff out. I basicly spent all my time and money last summer building it. What do you think would be a fair asking price?

I guess a better questions than "what is it worth" would be how much would YOU pay for it. Things are only worth what you can sell them for.

Why sell it? Sounds sweet and what are you doing that you actually need more engine than that in a Toy pickup? I would hold onto it and not take the huge loss you would have to take if you sold it.
