Man, I need to get back there. Too bad I can't just hop over the way I used to when I lived in Vegas.
Here's a pic for those who don't know what it's all about...

kellymoe 11-18-2004, 10:03 PM Michael,
Great pic. It should be a great little trip. Spend the first night at Lee Mines and do some exploring in the mines. The next day take our time heading to the springs exploring side canyons as we go. I think we will exit through Steele Pass and take some pictures at Eureka Dunes and then head home. Cant wait to sit in the springs and watch the sun set over the Inyo crest.

That's one of my favorite places. Thinking about going out there over Christmas this year.

Damn, I didn't take advantage of DV enough while I lived in the area.
:(
MilSpec 11-23-2004, 10:01 PM Do you have GPS Coords for this site. Might see you out there around Christmas if I can find it.

I just got back tonight from the springs. Great time but too short. I don't have the GPS coords but they are easy to find on most maps. I will be out again a few times this winter. Hope to see you there. I'll try and post some pics soon of the trip.

NICE!
Quite a difference from the snow we're going to get in Utah this week. :D

Seek and ye shall find. This is not the type of place that one posts GPS coordinates to on a public board...
MilSpec 11-25-2004, 01:14 PM Thanks anyway Pugsly,
Did some searching on the net yesterday and found all the info I needed. See ya up there around Christmas.

I thought you would probably figure it out!
We're hoping to be in Saline for Christmas, but only time will tell.

by the way, the GPS coordinates of the springs don't matter that much. what you really need is the location of the turnoff.

+1000!
Nice thinking Pugsly. There needs to be less GPS coord. publishing and more map reading. GPS is for wusses anyway. :flipoff2:
