I've got my K30 jimmy on blocks with a 14 bolt under it and no springs. I have 63's sitting right there telling me to put them in, but i can't get myself to do it. I just got a set of 2" belltech drop shackles because i was thinking of doing a shackle flip, but then I got to thinking about how much more pressure the 63's will put on the shackle when the rear spring hanger is left in stock place. And I did ass much reading on the AK system as I could, but i'm just left with what looks like to be two good set up's with out knowing much about them with these size springs. It looks like the AK setup would be a flexier way to go, who has fabbed there own?

I am not a fan of drop away links or buggy leaf setups
I would use long springs and long shackles

i'm puttin 63s on whats left of my k5 right now. i used the stock front mount, but i'm moving the rear hanger back. the 63s are gonna be quite a bit taller than the shackle flip and stock 52s that i was running.

edit: also not a fan of buggy leaves unless they got all the links, but then why not just link it to begin with.
