easiest = TSM
cheapest = DIY

Do a search, this topic has been hammered quite a bit lately. Look here and in the Jeep forum.

Yep sure did.

All said and done was around 250..

I used TSM brackets, small gm Calipers, and 1992+ IFS light duty rotors.. I am six lug so you would need to find different rotors, but contact tsm and ask him what discs to use.

What were the calipers out of? Did they have the emergency brake hook up?

My calipers do not have an emergency brake..

They are from a 90 something camero, Monte carlo, GM car

They are GM small calipers..

If you want a caliper with an emergency brake go with the caddy calipers.

Thanks.
I dont want the emergency brake, that is why i asked.

So when you say that they are out of a gm car, I assume you mean that they are front calipers????

Yes front. Mine are off a Monte Carlo as well.

Ok, thanks guys.

Eric, are the brackets that hard to make to hold these calipers?

Why wouldn't you go with the larger 1 1/8" rotors instead of the smaller ones?

Would any of you guys happen to have any pics of the brackets that you use to hold the calipers?

Thanks again

Or you buy the brackets from a reacecar shop or online from http://www.loufegersracing.com/brake.htm for about $25 and then weld them on. That is what I did with my 60 in my CJ

That works for me too. Which ones are the ones you used (what part# on that site)?

I used weld on brackets from a stock car race place here in town, but I added some material to make them bolt on to the rear of the axle end flange using three of the four bolts. I did this on a SJ rear D44. I used the IFS front rotors and small GM car front calipers too. Jeff

Just another option:
