I put in a Dana 44 from a 1974 Ford Bronco... I have done the disk brake swap, and it is all bolted on. I went to put the steering on and the stock bronco steering is to short and the YJ steering is to long. Plus the pitman arm hole is to small for the bronco. SO for a quick fix to move around the garage I cut the top of the YJ off and welded it to to the bottom of the bronco  . Natuarally... I dont want to keep it like this.

What are my options?

Thanks!

i put a 73 eb axle in my cherokee and had the same problem the best way to get around for a little bit is to us the stock draglink to the axle and cut the tierod in half and cut out a little bit and weld a pipe around it to keep it together but the tierod ends will still move in the knukle a little but for the best for completeing it would be to make your own stering buy using stong dom tube and weld in thread inserts and put heims in them bolt one to the bottoms of the knukles and on the pasanger side bolt it one on top one the bottom and the top one to the pitman arm
