JEEZ, full coverage on my KX250 at farmers was only $122 a year , start calling around. i just switched my cars to 21st century and saved almost a $1000 a year on those policies and got better coverage.

 My Allstate agent said he could'nt renew my policy because my renewal was late by 3 weeks, and that Allstate was no longer issuing M/C policies. NO M/C POLICIES AT ALL! Anyway, I posted a similar question here earlier, and got all sorts of options to try. The best option seems to be with a local Honda dealer( I have a Honda). Try your local Kawasucme dealer. I was surprised at the rates......... :D

We have our house and three cars w/AAA and they qouted me $900~ for my 00 Suzuki SV650!! They referred me next door to American Family and I got it for $220 a year I think. I guess AAA can't get good rates on bikes for some reason?

I paid $41 a month four years ago for liability on a 1990 Yamaha FZR 600 through MaGraw. I paid $100 a month this past year for a 2001 Yamaha R6 through Allstate w/1 accident and bieng 21.
My buddy was Quoted $3900 for his 2001 GSXR 600 with one 2 point accident and one moving violation. Also Allstate doesn't insure anyone with less than 3 years of having a MC license. Just my 2 cents....

I've had good luck with Nationwide Insurance. They wanted under $200 for full coverage for my CBR600F2 in '95. (This way for a year)

I too have Allstate for my house and car....when i picked up my gsxr, I called them and they told me they dont do motorcycles.
Called a friend and he told me he has Progressive.
I dont know anything about them or their rates....all i needed was some liability insurance for this 86 gsxr750.
BTW, I am in northern california.

I just called Geico yesterday for my new bike and they're not even writing policies right now. I guess I'll call up AAA and State Farm and see what they can do. Just want theft on it anyway. Renter's Insurance won't cover it either
