How much is admittance if any and how many days?

Oh and TSM1MT, How much do you usually have "with you" when you go. I'm just trying to get a feel for how much money I need to save. I figure If I take at least as much as you (and You drive farther) I should have no troubles. (Money-wise that is)

Thanks guys.

$35 for 2 adults and one rig for Sat/Sun (and Monday trail ride) in advance. You get a T-shirt, too.

$45 at the gate.

They give away a couple winches and sets of tires at the raffle on Sunday..

I spent over $700 in fuel last year. I don't remember the exact total - it's better that way.

Of course, that was Helena to RMIHR to Moab to NWBRU to Helena. 3000+ miles

Pay your entrance early.

Bring about $20 per person for daily food.

The 4H club and/or GirlScouts/BoyScouts usually have Breakfast/Lunch available on Sat/Sunday. $3-$5 per meal.

Sat night is the Wild Game Cookout - you get 2 tickets with your registration. aka "free food"

I used to bring food, but with prepared meals for $5 or less.. I can spend my time having fun instead of cooking.

I might bring some Venison to cook Friday night tho'. :-)

Otherwise, you'll need $$$ for gas if you do any cruising or trail riding, probably $$$ for Ice to re-fill your cooler full of beverages.

A donation for the Sunday Pig Roast is recommended, but not required.

Plus.. bring $$$ to spend on goodies!! :D

I want to try to have a Binder Night at the Drive-In this year, too.. we'll see. ;)

WOW that's a lot of gas. I guess I'd probably end up spending around $350-$400 in gas since I wouldn't be doing all of that other shiat. But I'd definitely be doing the trail run though.

So I think I'd leave friday morning, and come back tuesday morning. Make it two trail runs.

Thanks for the info.

Official Trail Rides are M, T, Wednesday. no Friday runs.

Monday there's a Ladies Only run if your wife wants a chance to drive.. Michelle had a good time (even tho' she put a leak in one of my tires..) driving. Plus you get to hang out with IH-driving women all day..

I always figure on 10mpg, and $1.50/gal. I haven't run the figures for last year, but I think I averaged about 10mpg (towing another rig) and gas was probably a little less than $1.50/gal in more than a few places - "bonus" when it is.

I'm hoping to take my crewcab this year.. with the stock 345, it's been averaging about 10mpg loaded or empty. Maybe it'll do better if I get the 392 built.. or maybe I'll just haul more junk with me. :D

WIth just a Scout II, if you can keep your foot out of it (aka, keep it to 70mph or a little less) you shouldn't have any problems exceeding 10mpg..

Dave and I spent 250 in gas round trip from Rapid City, SD to Fairplay and back. This was in a D-series towing a Scout, and gas was 1.50/gal. 70 bucks to enter the rigs, 50 a person for food, and money for purchases.

This was doing it VERY cheap, though.(trading labor for food :D ). 2 dumb Jeep guys helped finance the trip also, but thats another story.:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Yep Johnm those were the two that you were looking for someone to go and help. Matt ended up going out, and I stayed for the awards. All he had to do to get them going agan was to replace a section of the main feed wire going into the fuse block. Took about 15 min......
