When i did my SOA I decided to get rid of my emergency brake cable that didn't work ( I think the sleeve and that whole mechanism is just shot ). But now of course I need an emergency brake. And there is the fact that since it's now sprung over, I need to figure out how to route the cable over or under my springs. Does anybody have any ideas on how to make a different kind of emergency brake or should I just put the other one back together?

A little more info would help, since your sig line doesn't carry your rig specs. Year and model for starters.

I'm guessing stock rear drums? correct?
Well if you just need a new longer cable you can possibly try ControlCable Inc
phone 562-949-0595 they make cables to your specs. I had them make a custom cable for my ebrake on my FJ62 (rear disks tho) total was $130 delivered.
Not sure if they'll work for your application or not but it's an option.
They have a web presence www.controlcables.com.
Other options might include swaging on a length of cable to your existing cable for added length.
