because I get no response in General 4x4.

I'm reading the thread about the guy installing a fuel cell on his rig. My question is, why a fuel cell as opposed to a regular tank?

I would say that a fuel cell is easyier to work with than a conventional tank, for two reasons

1) its square and therefore you can create mounts and spaces for it easily
2) its new

i was moving my tank anyway and the fuel cell was cheap and easy to mount. it''s also a little bigger than my original tank.

I thought a "fuel cell" was made of metal and as a saftey feature it has a blader on the inside to keep the fuel from spilling if the tank were to get punctured. I know some of the racer guys have to have "fuel cells" to keep the gas from pouring out if the car gets nailed. However thats just what I was told.:)
