Quit whining, we haven't even had the coverage out yet!:flipoff2:

There wasn't *any* coverage of the event on the January/February issue, the only FJ55 I see is W. Harold's at the BHCC.

If you've seen the March/April issue of Toyota Trails, on which the "Running of the Pigs" is the *feature* article (write-up by Max Balmain and Mark Whatley, photos by Max Balmain and Henry Brimmer), then you've got me beat, and I'm the story editor! :)
The issue is ready, should be going to press in the next couple of weeks and print soon after, you should have it by the beginning of March.

If you want to see even *more* coverage of Iron Pigs on the pages of TT, then CONTRIBUTE, I'm definitely willing to publish the articles, but I can't generate them all!

Ooh ooh ooh!

Cool!

All good things, Mike! All good things come to those who wait. :)

Henry, you are going to be a great story editor.

I'll do my best, but as always, because we don't have any budget for attending events, pursuing leads or covering trail rides/vehicles, we really depend on people's contributions!

Let's see some articles, folks!

A while back my harddisk crashed and I lost all my email. Specifically, the email regarding Max's poster. (I’d also like it as it has the email addys of everyone that went on the run.)

Would someone please send it to me?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to fill you in: I am still hoping to produce a poster from the
pig run on the Con. It will be called the "Running of the Pigs"

I am still hashing out the details. It should be 22x25 or 22x30 on coated
poster stock. This should be four-color separated printing done on a press,
not a fade away inkjet job. I hope to have it out by xmas. The poster will
feature the wide group shot of 14 pigs and a lot of action shots from the
run. Once the design is finished I will post or have Morgan post a jpeg of
the poster so that everyone will get a chance to view it first.

This will be a limited small run of these posters(one time printing only.) I
will only have around 100 or so made. I want you to know that I am not out
for profit with this venture. If I make money that will be great. I hope to
break even given that I will be shelling out around $800 or more to make
this all happen.

Stay tuned...

Max

Let's see if my math is right... 14 pigs on the con. 100 posters. Equals way too many posters for just the 14 who went.

Are you going to sell them to other people? Because I know that I would love to have a piggy pic up on the wall.
