I know I'm still a newbie and I did the search thing and found nothing. I was just wondering if anybody has run or know somebody who has run the 6 inch rock ready monolinear lift from Skyjacker. I would like to knoe how well they flex and does it maintain the lift over time?? I would like to put this on my CJ, but don't want to find out that the springs start to sag right away. Any info would help.:D :D :D

everyone who has one that i know of has gone through quite a few of the springs, as they either bend into horrible shapes and don't return to memory, or sag down to a 2 inch lift in a few weeks. on the plus side, they probably ride softly. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THINGS THOUGH. go waste your money on something else.

well my personal experience with mine was great...never had a single problem with it and I wheeled it very hard...I used to go several time a week and on every weekend(boy those were the days:D) mine had seen porolly a dozen trips to Moab...and even on the day I took it off I could still fit 35s with TJ flares and NO rubbing...I may have been lucky...I ran mine for a total of about two to three years(I was the first in Utah to have one and one of the first out of their factory infact) but for the $1100 or so you spend on it I would highly suggest the RE 4.5" Extreme kit for only $800 or go SOA and be done with it...I dont regret getting the kit but I wouldn't get it again(I'm going coilovers now:D)
For a 6" kit it rides awesome on road and off...I always had a bunch of spectators watching in amazement that a bolt-on kit would flex like that...FWIW

Yes sir.. Im glad to hear that you didnt have any problems with your kit... I thought about getting this kit a couple times when it first came out, but the potential factor of breaking that one leaf and being stranded kept me away.. But like I said.. Im glad you didnt have any problems, and you can speak from experience..

a friend of mine put them on his YJ and after only two weeks and one trip to Moab they looked like pretzels. He went spring over it was the worst mod he ever made.

1badjeep......One main concern was the same as yours..If I break that single spring I'm Screwed:eek:  To everyone else sofar..THANKS for the info. I will probably go back to my original plan of SOA in front and coils in the rear. A friend of mine has this and it flexes great in the rocks and is still streetable.
