who has the best price on a set of rebuilt/recalibrated injectors.

the rig I have has 200k and the previous owner beat the shit
out of this rig.

at idle in gear it surges like crazy and wants run on five cylinders.
I put it in neutral and then its ok but after awhile it will start
surging like crazy until it dies out. Put it in gear and it all happens
the same only much faster.

when i first got it , it ran like a raped ape and now its gutless.

oh....one minute it was idling perfect and then the same day it
seems like it drops one cylinder.

so I'm leaning towards the injectors. at dodge where I work they
still want about $300/injector each!

I thought I saw somewhere on this forum where someone said rebuilt/calibrated
injector set of six was only three hundred for all six.

please help... and yeah...I went to the TDR and couldn't post or
search since I'm not a member.

thanks

you can buy brand new matched ones for less than that. http://piersdiesel.com/DodgeUSPrice.htm
You can get used ones for even less just hve to find them if you go to the classifieds at TDR there is usually a set that someone is selling or ask for an original set a lot of people pull injectors that are still good and just save them. I had set but I gave them to a board member. So ask around people have them and new ones are way cheaper than the quote you got.

i would change the fuel filter first and run some fuel additive through the tank first. 7 bucks for filter and 5 for some Power Sevice fuel treatment at autozone or walmart.

i second piers (PDR) for injector purchase. i bought POD's from them and they are sweet injectors. they have rebuilt stock ones as well.

also DTR is a dodge forum that is free and has a ton of info if your cheap like me and dont want to pay for TDR.
