does anybody sell such an animal? i know i can make a plate for the dash and hang my cd deck in the stock location but there has to be a kit available?!:rasta:

somebody had already bashed in my original bracket and the stereo guy hung a new bracket inside the hole and mounted a Alpine in there for me:D

used to be such an animal...same as some sort of a vw. i searched all over the denver area and didn't find any...they've been discontinued for quite some time now. only chance is of someone having old stock. i went the tuffy route and plugged the dash hole with a radio plug plate for a peterbilt. if you do go tuffy, be sure to drill vent holes in the side to keep the radio cool.

I used a 2 peices of 1.25"X.125" steel barstock about 4" long & bent them into an 90d angle. drilled holes & mounted them to the existing studs in the dash cover & then into the side of the deck. About 15 minutes to make the brackest & it was just about bullet proof. I'm not quite sure on the dimenstions but it was real easy to figure out.
