Man...Must be on a role today.
I'm looking for a remote mount for my oil-filter on my 3.9...I want to keep the engine as far back in my chassis as possible, and that put's the spin-on right over the pumpkin on my 60. Gotta' move it, and dunno' which adapter fit's the 3.9.

Its the same as a popular Ford filter as far as threads and O-ring go. The PH-8A is a Fram match as well.

Early 90's Blazers had a remote mount oil filter-perhaps this would be a less expensive alternative.
As I remember, it should be able to be adapted to our engines.

Thanks Ben...I'll look into it, but from your post....Which one? I like the sound of $10!
I'm sure as long as the gasket diameter is close, and the thread pitch and diameter is the same, then any adapter will work...And there are some super bling billet remote mounts on e-bay right now...Then some hoses....
And Tiz...All I've got done now is the engine/trans/t-case is mounted, and the link truss fabbed. I'm working outside in sub-zero temps so motivation to snap pics is tough...However I'll start a detailed build-up thread over on the general board, and specifics here if anyone is interested. So far it's been a blast. I've got a friend that's doing a narrowed CJ (42"!) tub with a 4 link rear 61" 60's, full hydro etc., right next to my project.
I'm hoping to get a week off here in a bit and put 10ea 12+ hour days in...I should have the bulk of it done in 10 day's with that level of push...All peices are purchased and ready to install...Brackets and link mounts all purchased through BTF...Rest on e-bay and vendors here on PBB...Got some killer stuff!

I don't really know which one they said that they fit most buick v-8s so I figured that they'd fit our engines. Guess you'll just have to call summit and see which one fits. Definately would like a good build up thread probably be the only hendrix chassis with rover stuff in it. At least for awhile until everyone sees the huge advantage of all that raw horsepower :)

Yeah that works too. But the Ford match is a more popular application. Since he is looking for a remote adapter.

If you wanna play that game, the filters for the newer Jags will work, but they are fawkin' tiny (and the scheduled replacement interval is 10,000 miles  )
