: Tires hitting knuckles?

Question for you IH guys - Just put a narrowed Scout D44 on the front of my Willys - and the steering arms are awful close to the tires. I'm currently running 33x9.5 tires on 15x8 AR 767 rims. I'm planning on upgrading to 35 or 36 x12.5 tires soon and I'm concerned about them hitting the steering arms.

What kind of offset are you guys running for tires that size?

Thanks

Long time no see in the Binder section. You only like us when you want something.

The IH outers are about an inch narrower then a Ford or Chevy setup. If you run 4" BS you are going to have problems, you'll want to run min 3.5" BS.

I ran into the same problem with my scout front end..

the A767s run in a 4 inch backspacing standard.. You will need a max of 3.5 inch backspacing, 3 would be better.
