oldjeep 02-07-2002, 07:11 AM Question for you IH guys - Just put a narrowed Scout D44 on the front of my Willys - and the steering arms are awful close to the tires. I'm currently running 33x9.5 tires on 15x8 AR 767 rims. I'm planning on upgrading to 35 or 36 x12.5 tires soon and I'm concerned about them hitting the steering arms. The IH outers are about an inch narrower then a Ford or Chevy setup. If you run 4" BS you are going to have problems, you'll want to run min 3.5" BS. You will need a max of 3.5 inch backspacing, 3 would be better. | |
