I have an 88 Cherokee on 35's and my stock steering is absolutely shot, and I am putting in a Dana 44 front from a 78 F-150 custom. I want to upgrade the steering since the junkyard cut the stock one to remove it from the truck :mad3: I was looking into these TRE's http://www.partsmikeparts.com/tre_kit.htm, any ideas on what diameter/thickness tube I should use and perhaps some pictures of your setup would be very helpful...I have a dropped pitman arm from skyjacker, will I be able to ream out the holes on the pitman arm and the knuckles safetly? Thanks

Most places use 1.25"x.25 wall DOM tube.
The taper is 1.5" per foot
Click here for the tool (http://www.goodson.com/g5-bin/client.cgi?G5genie=1;G5button=1;search_button=Sear ch;INVOICE_ID=&item=P5645)

Use 1.25x.219 wall DOM. You can just tap the tube because it is the correct I.D. Or you can just order you Drag link and tie rod from Parts Mike.

I have the taps on order, does anyone know where I could get some of that size DOM? No where around my house, Northern VA or Blacksburg, VA even sells tubing.... Online order should be fine, but I would rather pick-up....thanks
