What did you use to get the lift you wanted and how many hours rolling around on the floor to accomplish the project?

For the front I used an 1-1/2" over stock shackle, removed the lower leaf out of his old front 3" lifted springs that were sagging from age and replaced it with a brand new 2" recurved leaf cut the sway bar bushings off. Cut the metal Tabs that hold stock brake line's on top of the frame and moved them down to the sides and rewelded no ext. nec. now plenty of brake line. on the rear added 2-1/2 " adda leaf had to relace a stripped nut and used anti-sieze an everything, Bleed more air than a space shuttle could hold out of the brake lines and adjusted them to work they didnt when it came in. I also added a 2" body lift
which really went pretty easy reset up a front/ rear gears to 4:38
to replace the blown 5:71's . That initself is pretty easy after you
remove the tire's and find the front Knukles this dude loves to run the mud drags had to replace the front inner shaft seals (old ones leaked) Guy's cousin thought that gear oil went in the knukles so he topped them off that was a nice surprise and addition to the garage floor when I pulled them Did you no one knuckle holds about a tin and 1/2 of grease. anyway overall despite having about 500, 6"clods of mud left on the floor the job wasnt bad I tryed to catch everything in my hair and ears as it fell off with every twist of a wrench but I'm not that big of a guy
Time spent on the truck overall probably 30hours for eveything and maybee alittle over $120. in parts and the gas to heat the garage its been colder than shit out here latletly It does flex now though I think I'm going to write it up and post this on the web page name it time well spent :smokin: :D :smokin:

Well the guys a member of the club so we are doing are barder.
For the ring and pinion setup he suppleid a new set of used gears in the carriers I just had to pullem and reinstall them that is switch rear spool into new carrier and ring gear set up backlash and prload and front detroit onto new carrier and same backlash and preload reinstall and put the body lift on the truck wasnt expecting the inner seal and outer wheel bearing seals to be shot but cheap enough. Did that for a set of 83 front and rear Toyota axles. For raising the truck to clear 35's and get a little xtra flex out of it were still workin out the details proposed trade is parts to lift the truck and get it to flex for my 85 Maxum X 700
for an 18" car hauler, bike has aprox trade in value of $1100.- 1300. trailer is worth $1500. We need a nice enough day to take the bike out so he can test drive it

Dam sounds like alot of work just to get a trailer I mean your time has to account for something If your trade in value on the bike is
1100-1300 youshould be able to get at least 1800-2000 selling it out rite. considering an 18 ft trailer trade in value is 800-1000
