i dont know if you guys have been keepin up with what im doing but seeing as ive been lingering around these boards for a while know i figured id give you my story/build up

im 18, fulltime student, going for mechanical enginering. this is the first rig ive messed with.ive been workin on my scout for a couple of years now, SLOWLY. its a 67(not a 65 like my name says, i used to have a 65) my hole deal(or my dads) was just to get it runnin asis so i could get it on the road. well after a year or so i checked the compression on 3 cylinders and the all cam up less that 35. so i told my pops that we were "takin it apart now" and until he started putin some money into it we were buildin it like I want to.

so in the last 4 months i striped it down to the frame, now she's gota 345 4brl quadrajet, t19 wide, twinstick 20. SOA RS d44's 4.10s s2 springs up front and rancho 44044s in the rear. 5"shackles front and rear and i built the spring hangers 2inches off the frame. so far ive neted about 10" lift minus the 36's itll be on.

im planin on puttin in an aluminum rad, taurs fan. cv shafts f/r, hysteer. ive gotta FREE ramsy 6000lb winch waitin to go in it. im gonna tig up an aluminum gastank for it. change over the a/c to oba. and put in a 6pt cage, sliders and bumpers

its been a pretty cheap build so far, the only big thing ive bought new were the 44044's. the shop i work at has 2 cnc mills, lathes out the wazoo. and a 20ft cnc plamsa burnout table that burnst up to 2" thick still. thats some thick shit. shears breaks and all kindsa shit to screw around with. so theyve been helpin my out alot with all the mounts and machining

but anyway i just thought i would properly introduce myself

o yeah im a terrible speller
and
BB is to "easy" to disscus hardcore tech with. sorry for botherin you folks with my bs

not realy, i just built them long so that after i got all the weight on the chassie i could cut them down to make everything sit level. i didnt realy know how those soft 44044's were gonna sit down compared to the hd s2's ive got in the front with 2 main leaves.
