I got the 4" narrowed Unimog axles the other day. The front has the diff flipped to the passenger side. They had all sorts of tabs and such on them so it took a wee bit of torching/cutting/grinding/flapper wheelin' to get them cleaned up. But the look okay now. Pulled the rear portals off the donor axles and ordered up one of the rear custom shafts I need from Exaxt (makers of the housings as well). Also ordered up the orbital, and the double ended hydro ram for full hydro steering. Gonna hold off on rear steer for now just to get ready by the CC '05. I will give some more updates as they come along.

Here is the front two axles in comparo. The short side axle is MUCHO thin (barely over 1" in diameter). I have an Astroalloy shaft to replace it that is the same thickness overall as the major diameter of the splines (read very thick).
