Sorry for a lame post, but I've been searching for almost a half hour. I'm looking for info.. or better yet PICS.. of the factory "dull" YJ colors that were available in the mid 90's. I know they had a green, tan & blue that were a semi gloss or satin finish.. resisted scratches & looked good as long as you didnt try to wax it (which I always saw customers try & leave permanent swirl marks..). I'm getting ready to paint my rig & considering these colors since the rig will be wheeled anyway, dont want to go rattlecan. Any hale or pics would be greatly appreciated.

The one I remember was a lighter blue.. like a blue/grey or "slate blue" shade.. it was a satin finish, no shine.

EDIT: its a 91-93 "Light blue satin metallic" color code BD or KBD

I've got a few more pics here http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/351113/4

Not many though as I started ripping it apart shortly after I bought it, and I haven't finished it yet.

Oh, and the previous owner did try waxing it and it does look like shit because of that.

Go rattle can Olive Drab from Aervoe, comes out perfect, and does not need that much prep work, plus easy to repair,a nd not dull.
