Getting ready to make some shackles. What size stock do you guys recommend??? 1" wide x 3/16. 1/4 ??????? 2" wide. I want to buy some stock and dont know what size....

I'd go 2" x 1/4"..... You're not planning on 10" super extendo shackles are you?? :flipoff2:

FYI....I used 2 x 3/8 so that me $.02 worth.

NO NO super foot long shackles

3/8 thick 1 1/2 wide

I use 2" x 3/8"

3/8 x 2" and put in a cross brace if longer than 8" hole to hole.

1/4 x 2" with a bolt spacer in the middle (removeable) for trail--(non prerunner use)
