Anybody running low pinion front and rear D60's on a TJ? If you are, is there any driveline problems and any clearance probs.

Thanks

I have that combo and I really dont have any clearance problems. I'm also running a SBC/sm465/NP205 combo so I put everything where I got the most room but I think you would be fine with any drivetrain you run. If your going to the trouble to put them in you probably have the resources to fix just about any problem you come accross anyway;)
Dave (Been running this way for 4 months and still no pics up)

Thanks, I have been debating on whether to put low or high pinion 60's for a while now. I know high pinions would be better expecially in the rear but they are to expensive to build and if you find one from a Ford that someone wants an arm and a leg for it. Also I know in 01 they change the routing of the exhaust in front on the oil pan so a high pinion might cause a little clearance issue. So what the hell its just money right. I figure I can build 2 standard D60's for about the same price as buying one reverse cut 60. BTW Dave are you axles full width or did you cut them down?

Thanks

I'm running mine full width. They are really not that much wider than the factory axles. (65 inches)
Dave (DO get some looks from the jeep guys around town when they see the front pig;)

my front is 71" wide rear is 67" wide

biggest problem will be gas tank relocation (fuel Cell)

i have the rear 4-link figured out

realy dont want to run a trac bar in the front but i dont know if there is room for a triangulated 4 link in a TJ front

both are low pinions (in a 60 high pinion only gains 2 1/4") i am moving the rear axle back 8" so DS lenght will not be a problem...i am going to run a spool in the back and a lockrite in the front (i dont think i can break a lockrite in a 60 (it is huge)

i plan on driving on the street whenever it is nice outside
