Have a 1978 CJ5 for sale. I picked it up a couple of months ago for a project but I'm wanting something a little different. This will make a good project for someone who has the time. Good title.

-258 6 cyl
-T150 w/ Dana 20 (modified to have 4H 2H N 2L 4L)
-Hard Top
-Bikini Top
-Have rough soft doors that could most likely be reskinned
-Warn Hubs
-SOA with slightly longer shackles
-35x12.50 Mud Tracs with only about a thousand or so miles on them
-15x10's (unknown brand etc.)
-Herculined Interior and roll bar
-New bucket seats and seat covers (still have the stock seats laying around but the frames are rusted on them)
-New Brake Master Cylinder
-New Battery
The Good: the motor runs fine and I haven't had a problem out of it since I got it. I drove it home about 30 miles. Haven't had it back on the street since then but have had it off-road a few times. The drivetrain is good and everything works. Has redneck stickers :D
The Bad:
-the transmission slips out of second when under a load but if you take it easy it's ok.
-the fuel gauge and temp gauge is not working - just needs to be hooked up
-the brakes were bad on it when I got it. Put a new master cylinder on it and now they work if you pump them. Still haven't gotten around to bleeding them so that may fix the problem.
-passenger door is held closed with bungee cord at the moment but i'm in the process of fabbing a striker for it
-Paint is peeling on the hood
-Redneck stickers :D
That's all I can think of at the moment. If you want to know anything else about it just ask and I can answer for you.
Asking Price: $4,500 obo (will consider any trade of equal or lesser value; also maybe for shop equipment + cash: Large MIG,TIG, bender, plasma, etc.)
Location: Booneville, MS (the Northeast corner) You come and pick it up.
