: Hola Amigos (Rodeos-Troopers-Passports-Holdens etc.) - And everyone else
early_cave_drawings 02-08-2002, 11:48 AM Hey all! - Brand new to Pirate 4x4... Just joined a few minutes ago.
I didn't see an Isuzu forum, so I guess this is where I'll find the `Zu crowd. - "Mitsuzu" being the name of the Moderator here gives me some hope... That 'zu' part, anyhow :D
I look forward to making the rounds, and meeting everyone (OK... with this size of a membership, I guess I should say 'MANY of you') - lol
I sure wish that I had found this place a few days ago... I needed some fast information on some Rancho 9000s, and instead ended-up spending ALL DAY finding the answer.
For the record, the Rancho 9000 that fits the FRONT of the 1995.5 to 1997 Isuzu Rodeo is model RS 9214 (No matter what you have done to the T-bars in order to get some lift). - Rancho claims that there are NONE to fit this vehicle, but this is actually due to the possibility of some very minor contact with the sway-bars. - (Yeah, Big Whoop! My thoughts exactly! - Rancho was just plain clueless on this one! - Oh, and that's Rancho: 1-800-574-6257 if anyone ever needs the number.)
If I'm covering some already familiar territory, then I'm very sorry for taking up the valuable space.
Well, later all... Feel free to give me a shout!
See Dick  - See Dick :jeep: - See Dick :skull:
Don't be a Dick! - (Umm... It's OK to use PROPER NOUNS here, right? - LOL)
^ Other than that...
Scout Dude 02-08-2002, 11:52 AM :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: Welcome NEWBIE:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
Tell you what...ditch the sway bar and the IFS and then shocks will be the very least of your problems...
Oh, and grow some extra skin(you'll see what I mean in a few minutes)
Ramstein 02-08-2002, 12:20 PM All the Izusu people use the montain bike forum to get tech tips.:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

dangerber 02-08-2002, 12:27 PM I sense some cornfusion here, "camo" is the moderator of this section. :flipoff2:
And I think all of the good Isuzu tech is in the "wanted" section. :trooper:
StinkBug 02-08-2002, 12:33 PM careful there dave, unless your Isuzu looks like Michael Woods or Corbins your gonna have to take some crap around here. grow a thick skin quickly. The only reason i dont get much crap here is
1. i only post after searching and i only post technical questions that cant be answered by reading a chiltons.
2. i took the torch to my IFS.
3. :flipoff2: Fawkin Newbies :flipoff2:

Tis true, though the Pirate BBS doesn't have an Isuzu section so most use the Isuzu section at 4x4wire but nonetheless you'd be surprized at how many Isuzu owners post or lurk here.
Unfortunately ECD didn't do his homework before jumping up and saying "HEY". This is definately not the board that will cater to the "what Rancho's will my ....." Oh well, we where all young and enthusiastic once.
BTW, ECD :flipoff2: Welcome to the Pirate BBS.
Weasel 02-08-2002, 04:10 PM Yeah Camo os the Mod here. Welcome newbie :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2:

Anyone remember that one? heeeehahhahaha...
Hey dude. :flipoff2: Welcome to POR.

"It'll do 200 miles per hour." - (Yeah, if you pushed it off of Pike's Peak!) <--- I liked the Joe Isuzu, 'Hey lying' ones, myself.
Hell, I'm just impressed that someone on here actually called me 'YOUNG'... Thanks a million!!! - With my 35th only a few days away, I'll take that one and run with it!
:flipoff2: - Right back atchaz!
(Oh yeah, LMMFAO @ "...You can hear it rust")
"Money, time, and sound advice." - I don't think the bank would take to kindly to me taking a blue tipped wrench to the IFS on THEIR Isuzu; No, not just yet. - In 5 years, for my 40th BD present to myself <---(OUCH! - Now THAT one actually stings!) that rice-burner out in the driveway will, by then, likely have 6+ inches of total lift, Dana 60s (or better) front & rear, 38 to 44-inch Dick Cepeks, a full cage, a V-8/5 or 6-speed manual trans combo w/ a twin t-case set-up for serious crawling ...etc. Something like (or better than) the Isuzu Trooper at THIS SITE. (http://4x4mountainsport.com/ ) - All I need is money, time, and that all important sound advice.
I joined here to help attain such goals... I see I have the right place.
*Toasts with a shot of East Tennessee Weapons-Grade Moonshine to you falken guyz who actually help* - "Here's to gettin' there! - Cheers!" *Cough* (Whoof... That's smoooooooooooth!)

wheelinjp 02-09-2002, 09:21 AM Hey the new guy just might make it after all. You are one thick skinned sob thats for certain. I can tell you this since you werent a whiney lil puss about the mild flaming, you will certainly fit in. Now just start asking legit questions about anything you want to do and Im sure they will get answered.
Unless you throw a huge hissy, this board just talks tough to weed out the whiners. So welcome aboard, its nice to add more manufacturer diversity, and always remember ifs is not a good topic.
So welcome aboard NEWBIE:flipoff2:

Finally someone else from the Mountain State on PBB and they drive a FAWKING IZUZU!!! :mad3:
Talk about false representation! Why couldnt we get a redneck with some sanity around here. Well WELCOME NEWBIE!
Get the D60's and 38's(not fawkin Cepeks) and slap them under a Heep or a Toy. There was a Rodeo in Putnam county rolling on 38 Hawgs, i think its sitting beside his trailer with no motor right now. :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

DAMN!!!! I knew this guy was :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
In my book, this last idiot, TexasTeadrinker, is the biggest idiot on this thread --- 28 posts under his belt and he's slamming around. The pathetic part is that he's doing it by misquoting the guy's original post.
Pitiful, man. Mebbe you should sprinkle a little Miracle-Grow in your jockeys, grow some hair, then try posting again... with something better than junior high tricks.

I used to have a different screen name but lost track of it in all the new BBS business. If you still have a problem with my 28 post balls, well I have a peace offering for you thjat i think you'll like.

In spite of how silly this Newbie sounds, I can't wait to see him on the slimmy rocks of the East Coast with 44" Dick Cepeks doing some "serious crawling"
The Joker 02-11-2002, 08:53 PM I saw one on the trail once, but it was stuck in the tire tread of a real 4x4.
Fawkin Newbies:flipoff2:
And the texaspeedrinker! Why would you hang around for 4 years and just join last year:smokin: sounds like faulty math to me. Looks like you counted the same finger four times.:flipoff2: Newbies shouldn't smack down NEWBIES!:rainbow: :rainbow:
Doug K 02-12-2002, 07:07 AM like I said...my old screen name was lost in the transition to the new BBS... If I could figure out how to get it back i would. As it is I joined late last year for the SECOND time so I could resume posting once in a blue moon.
Scout Dude 02-12-2002, 09:19 AM So he drives a Rodeo..BFD. There are people on this board who don't even have rigs and you don't see them getting bashed. He did say that he would like to do some mods in the future so he is not a total loss. So all you fawkers with your "Extreme" 4" bolt-on lift kit can
FAWK OFF . You all gave him his Newbie bashing and he stuck around...no get over it and let him use the search feature to figure out on his own that Cepeks suck. Maybe sooner than later he will do a SAS and he will be the one passing you by on the trail.....:smokin:
IndyCJ 02-12-2002, 09:36 AM What the??????
Isuzu? 4WD?
I didn't know they were 4WD :flipoff2:
Maybe you should step up and buy a tracker! :D :flipoff2:
Welcome Newbie!

hate to break it to ya but your gonna need a lot more than 6" of lift to run those tires unless you wanna cut off half your rear doors and front end. i'm runnin 11" of lift on my amigo and am barely fittin 38s with some fairly decent trimming (no front bumper and 8" off the back) and amigos have HUGE wheel wells compared to rodeos. good luck tho  and get ready for a ton of research and work.
