Where'd it go? I got some msg for new post and its "invalid"

He probably deleted the thread. It had accomplished it's purpose. I mean the guy wasn't here to make a contribution or learn anything, he just wanted the free advertising for his junk. Last time I looked that thread had like 200 views, so mission accomplished for him. What a dweeb.:rolleyes:

I thought his rounded style bezel had the embossed LAND CRUISER on it??? They were rare I thought orMaybe brain cells are a rarity in my head. I do fully agree that there are some people on Ebay that regularly try to pass off some sheet, but there are other out there who pay $$$ for it! I sold a carpet set from CCOT(originally ~$149 for over $200) and I eevn gave a P/N and list the part was from CCOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A few clicks of the mouse and they would have seen the carpet set for less than they paid!!!!or were considering paying! I asked the dude if he knew they were less than what he paid and he did not really seem to mind.

Oh well...

It is funny what stuff goes for on eBay at times. Gets folks whipped into a feeding frenzy. Sadly a few times the top bidder never paid a dime! I would have been more than happy to sell a $30 item for $20, but some idiot took it to $50... someone else pointed out they were an idiot, and I get the hassle of relisting. Sheesh. It is interesting.

Hmm, carpet kit is $150 from Spector? Hmm. I really should have my seats recovered and new carpet installed in my FJ60. Mainly to get it to look better for an eBay auction! :D

Hey anyone was a rust free '84 FJ60 for $4500 with a clean body and stained interior. Odd, with clean seats and carpet it would sell for $6K (I hope). Yep, need to replace a rear main seal when the weather is good.

if his did have the land cruiser embossed it would be rare, but it didn't ...it was a standard 65-78 round bezel...not rare at all...we've got probably 12-12 at dad's, a friend has a bunch...etc
