Anyone know of a good candidate fuel pump for a Vortec engine swap into a CJ? I prefer to use an intank type. Just wondering of anyone tried a vette type or GMC truck type. Looking for one that would go in fairly easily without starting a subproject!

I have a few high HP cars as well as my sick truck hobby and I have to say go with a Walbro 255 LPH or the 255 high pressure Walbro. I have run this pump in many cars and it works great. Enough pump to supply 500 HP + and they are cheap at around $120 or so. it is an in tank pump, it is relatively quiet, lasts quite a while (if not pushed a lot 10 years 100K miles), and flows a lot of pressure if it needs to. (on a friends turbo car we tested it and it pumped enough volume to make 400 HP at 80 or so PSI.

It might take a bit of custom work to get it in there but it is no bigger than a 'normal' in tank pump.
