Guys, Can it be this simple to use a piece of dom tubing and drill a hole through the frame then put the tube through the frame and weld the tube inplace or is it more difficult or is their a simplier way??

No, its pretty much that simple. I would plate the area you were going to drill through though. This would provide some extra support to keep the frame from breaking. Oh and it can be hard to drill through frames, espicially with the size of hole you will need to make for the dom and bushings.

Jimmy was that about 1/8 spacing you used to secure the tube and the tube looks a little thin, thinking about going 3/16 min but might go 1/8 with plating of 1/8 outside the hole with roughly a hole 3/16 greater then the tube then weld in the tube and plate....more then likely way overkill but its a cruiser....

coytee - worked fine all summer(the tubing) just make sure u math the bushings to tubing size.
