MasterCraft has been paying attention...We all know the hit softening properties of a suspension seat and we all know the "trapping" side hit control of a kirkey-style seat...both have their place but the problem is you cannot have both...or can you? Call Robbie becuase the new MasterCraft competition rockcrawler seats are in the testing phase. If you're building a new buggy or retrofitting for safety, you'll want the dimensions before you start.

Here's Becca in one of the early seats. Robbie will be making a few small changes for more visability and ease of movement balanced with a proper fit.

And for those that don't fit ever seat perfectly becasue of weight or heigh issues, the bottom pad can be made to fit your needs. Or if you're real big, Robbie can make custom sized frames though it'll cost you more $ and more time. The seat-pad in this pic is about 2" thicker than he'll build Becca's.

With some people trying to pre-build and test new designs in a computer enviroment a simple solid model of the seat ( just a shell ) with mounting points would be VERY handy!

h'mmmm...I'll ask Robbie if he has that available.

That would be very nice, as most seats out there today are definitely direct derivitives of baja or street racing and don't allow the range of motion or visibility needed for our use.
I say kudos to even the idea!

Oh, and that is the least wild I have ever seen Becca. She mellowing out or something? QUICK, GET THAT LADY A RED BULL N VODKA!!

Is there anyplace in the SE that carries Mastercraft?
I like the lookjs of them just don't wanna drop cash without sitting in a set and knowing specs of the ones I sit in.

I may just have to wait till the next Jellico event and start kicking people out of their seats
