Does anybody know of a good leaf swap when using dana 44s other than the normal yj setup? Looking for possibly somthing with an offset center pin to stretch the wheelbase as much as possible. trying to keep the overall leaf around 40 to 50 inches. thanks

XJ's and Toyota rears are all that I know of. The XJ (and Toyota I think??) rears are designed to run the offset forward and not towards the rear. If you run them backwards, they are a lot more susceptable to spring wrap and a tarc bar is recommended. You can always order custom springs with whatever offset you want. Stretching the frame is another option though.
EDIT: Is there an echo in here? Wassup with the double post.

Ran XJ's front and rear all year, too long, can't use all the flex they offer unless you use a shock longer than 14" in the front... Dragged them everywhere, and broke 2 after a few months... Now i run YJ's in the front, and they seem to be more stable, and i haven't hit them yet on anything... Still running Xj's in the rear, too cold to swap them out for anything else right now... What about the waggy springs? Looked at that option?

They are a little longer than your spec, but I am running Jeep Wagoneer's from a 79'. I believe the rears are 55" long with an offset pin.

Am I the only one that noticed that this Goof ball asked this same question in two different threads, and both have replies.. This place is getting to nice.

I am running top 2 toyota stock rear, reversed. Bottom 3 from yj pack. I like the ride and flex, it also moved the axle forward quite a bit. Also still running clamps on the packs, axle rap not that noticable.

I've been eye balling durango springs.
The offset looks like a lot.
I would like to see a set on my garage floor so I could measure them and scratch my head and wonder.

No, that is why I asked about the "echo". I am guilty of saying it nice though :( You are right Wayne. We're getting a little too nice these days. It is bad enough rehashing old tech once, but twice from the same guy

i've been thinking about the All Pro springs. might be too heavy of a spring rate though.
