Independent4x.com now offers braided steel ARB airlines! I generally offer these in 8' front and 16' rear........which works for most rigs.

BUT, i know there are some guys out there with "special" needs..........SO, these can be made in virtually any length for your front or rear applications. Custom orders have slightly longer lead times of course.

no more failures due to air supply PM me or post up for quote, include your ZIP please.

i will also have metal clamps to zip tie the lines to tubeing soon (post those pics next week.)

I just wanted to say that dealing with Matt at Independent4x4 was great. I was one of the first to order these lines and when I received mine, there was a small problem. Turns out that the D60 35 spline ARB unit uses a larger copper air line than the rest of their units...so, the fitting did not work! I called Matt, and he said he'd look into it...when he found out that I wasn't "crazy", he immediately set out to fix the problem...a new fitting was soon on its way! He also got me the right fittings for the other end that mounts to the ARB solenoid...it now works and looks great!

The line is top notch quality and is the best looking part on my truck! :smokin: ha,ha My thanks to Matt for taking care of me and seeing to it that I was satisfied - he is a stand up guy and I will definitely not hesitate to give him my business in the future!

hey guys here are some updated pics on the Lines and some additional info on how they assemble, etc.

here's what you get:

each kit comes with the airline in the lenght of your choice (6', 8', 12' 16'), you get 4 fittings per line. from top to bottom:

1. a custom made BSP fitting w/ a bonded washer that threads into the ARB solenoid
2. a standart NPT fitting...this is for the Co2, your compressor, caddy compressor, etc crowd who are making their own air supply system
3. a small bore fitting for the delivery end (axles smaller than a D60, w/ small diam. copper line at bulkhead)
4. a big bore fitting for the larger copper tube (D60 + axles)

pictured here w/ the ARB Solenoid ( if you need one, let me know i do sell all the ARB small parts seperate...Solenoids, pressure switches, rocker switches and cover, etc.)

pictured arb seal housing is from a 35 spline D60 unit

like w/ the plastic, you use the inner comp. nut, the bulkhead body, and the appropriate ferrule.

my line replaces the "center compression nut" , etc.

Using the big bore fitting for the D60...ready to screw togehter:

and finally all screwed together on the delivery (axle) end of the line.............

this should clear up all the questions that i have been getting on PM :D if there is anything i can answer for you guys just let me know. also shop/installer inquiries are welcome...i'll work with you on qty's

i am updating this with these new metal "line straps" i mentioned a while back. these are an ultra clean way to route my ARB airline or brake lines or wires, etc along tubing.

example is if you want to run your air line along you upper links :D


image shows a line strapped to 1.50 o.d. D.O.M., i just used zip ties for the pic.............you could also use metal bands like CV boots use or maybe safety wire.
