Hey everyone, I know this may be a stupid question, but I don't know of any other way to find the answer out. I am running all rubber lines off my 700R4 and I purchased a B&M Tranny Cooler for it, but I need the fitting that runs into the radiator. Anyhow, where I live for college is pretty remote and no one has a SAE Thread 3/8 Barbed Hose Fitting. So I figured I would grab one when I was back home near detroit...but I forgot the fitting to compare. So I need to know what is the size of the tranny line fitting that normally threads into the cooler built into the radiator. Thanks! Christian

Well, I think I found the answer on bowtie overdrives. I believe it is 5/16, but if you know for sure will you please confirm this. Thanks. Christian

If you run rubber lines to the radiator then you will need to ground the radiator separatly.

if you do run soft lines, make sure you flare the end of the steel lines and do not run fuel line. the soft line has to be rated for atf or it will fail. seen it more than once. :(

Yeah, I bought high pressure line...I have seen what happens when hot tranny fluid hits a hot engine. Anyhow, about grounding out the radiator...I assumed it would ground to the body through the mounting brackets, is there any reason it shouldn't? That thread is SAE thread right? Just want to double check, but every pipe thread fitting I tried didn't fit. Thanks, Christian

high pressure line is good, but it CAN NOT be fuel line. sorry if i sound redundant here, but ATF will soften fuel line to the point of rupture.

Yep, thats why I didn't buy fuel line. Anyhow, when I tried the pipe threads it wouldn't fit, so I think it is SAE thread, but can anyone confirm this? Thanks, Christian
