I am doing the 302 swap in the Radioflyer this summer so I am looking into buying all the parts for this before I go home for the summer so it will all be ready. I think I all ready figured out what kit to use I am know stuck on what radiator to use. I read that James Duff has one that will fit and it has a filler cap relocator and everything but it is copper and I was looking into getting an Alum one that cools better. Know my question I can get one from Griffin that is Alum and mesures 27-1.2x19x2 I just want to know what it looks like, does it have the filler cap relocated so I can get it colser to the grill in my truck. If yall have any pics of a griffin rad that has been put in a ranger would be helpful.
Thanks

Mines 27 1/2 x 15

I wasn't going for the factory look. It doesn't have an extended filler neck. I just leaned it out a bit at the top. That's all going to change soon anyway. I'm hacking out the inner body and building my own rad support.

My engine is stuffed back as far as it will go, and I don't quite have enough room to run my a/c pump. If I were to hack out the top of the rad support that would do the trick. Mounting your radiator is easy, the hard part is finding rad hoses that will work!

Finding a lower rad hose was one of the hardest parts of my swap. I ended up putting 2 hoses together to make what I wanted.

A friend of mine has a '93 5.0L in his '87 BII. He has a 4.0L Explorer radiator with stainless steel flex fan and an electric pusher for a little extra help on those hot days. He has never had a cooling problem but then again it's not Texas here either. The pic I have doesn't show the radiator.

Another option is the factory V8 Explorer radiator.

Yers is backward

These radiators kick ass. After I did my 302 swap, I drove for about 2 weeks with NO fan whatsoever! As long as I was moving, I was in good shape. That was last summer in our warm spell 90* days.

I've got a taurus fan I that I'm going to use now....don't really need it, but I like the low profile motor and 2 speed option.
