Does anyone want to run the Bowman Lake (Malokoff Diggins) or Morman Immigrant 12/26 Sunday? I have my sister, bro-in-law, and nephew in town from Illinois and want to show them some mountain snow. Whos up for it and what trail? If we do Morman Immigrant I can use my Sam's Club card to gas us up at the Sam's off of hwy 50 in Folsom on the way up to the trail. Who's in???

There's not much snow up on Iron Mtn. right now. It's just been too warm. There is a storm predicted for Sunday, but only a 40% chance of moisture and I'm not sure how low the snow level will be. Mayble Malakoff would be better, but I kind of doubt it.

Yep snow is TERRIBLE up there right now.. We went on the 19th and it was all slush/ice with slush under it... There is some snow there it's just TERRIBLE wheeling snow. The snow that's there has about 2-4" of slush/ice/crust so if you breakthrough be prepared to dig because you sink damn fast into the softer shit under it... Not to fun to play in heh.

Thanks guys, I might try to hit the Con to Spider Lake and back out tomorrow. I want to do it before we get the rain/snow expected from Sunday through next week. Has anyone been to the Con/Fordyce? I don't think there is alot or any snow on there now, but after Sunday there should be lots on both of them.

If you're going to Fordyce I would go, I've wanted to hit it one last time before the big snow. I've got a couple other people who would most likely go there also.
