I have a set of tires that you guys have slammed many times on here but I have to run what I have. I just wondering how you would go about cutting a tire to make it better. Really I need to know what kind of tool that is needed.

They make a tire grooving tool that you can fit with multiple width heads depending on the width of the groove you want. Are you running thornbirds?

Read about it here, click click. (http://www.pirate4x4.com/productreviews/swamper-impact/index.html)

When search starts working again, use it, I believe Paul Ganganon or something like that did a mean grooving job on the tires your referring to.

The Afco dirt track gear works good. another option would be to turn them over to a tire shop and have em' "siped". Im sure if you search there is tons of info on this.
