I want to paint it, and was look for some suggestions.. Anything will be better than this ... Actually ive seen some real nice orange ones, but im looking for something else.. Thanks, Chad

If you want something distinctive, I say: Yellow body tub w/ peeling woodgrain, OD front fenders, blue hood, loose the top and run a 5x5 blue tarp as a bikini top :D

I've never liked Scouts in bright colors. The only exeption is red 800 Sporttops.

If you want attention getting, how bout flouresent green, like Terex uses :question: If all else fails, get a Chrysler Co. paint list from 1971. Plum Crazy Scout, anyone????

I'm gettin' ready to paint my 77.

It was originally dark green with white stripes. Then it had a tub transplant. That looked funny. White tub and everything else green, so I painted everything except the top. Brown with green top!

Now my top is black with clear coat.

I'm thinkin' of white with a dark red stripe up over the corvette cowl induction hood scoop and then down both sides at an angle following the line of the hood. Oughta go good with the gray powder coated wheels, gray bumpers, tire carrier, speedliner interior, and the gray F150 captains chairs, etc.

But then again, been thinkin' 'bout new VW sublime green!

I think I'm going with Caterpillar Yellow.

Gonna make sure it's not too close to Randy's awesome Mitsubishi yellow first.

Do mine white with a red stripe over the hood and at an angle across the door with a L-88 hood scoop and NO CHROME. Full cage. RS. 98 Dodge fender flares (yeah, big square ones- kinda like Abbas) and 36s.

Wanna see what it's gonna look like.
