: swapping tires and rims...do it myself or where for cheap?!

im swappin my 33s to my neighbor for his 36s. i gotta get the rims swapped though too. hes keepin his rims. where can i get this done cheep? les schwab wants 100 buks! fuk that! and my auto class is only on mondays and the next 2 mondays are holidays and no school. what are some options. also...his rims are some shitty aluminum ones that he doesnt want me driving on to pop the beed. mine i could care less about...thanks!

at the risk of sound racist....the Latino tire shops around here do it for $4 a tire, balance another $4. To find 'em, just look under 'used tires' in the yellow pages (you can reconize 'em by the name ie. Gonzalas Tire)

Ha Ha, this is true, mounted and balanced 37's and bought one 16.5 rim all for the one low price of $20 at a shop like Gonzales Tire :p

If you know anyone in a high school autoshop they may do it for free as part of the class thing....my son has swapped several sets and balanced em for me and friends for a zero cost!!
Another idea anyway for ya...Latino shops are good also and dont charge a heck of a lot as stated above....:D
