Absolutely.

I welded the ram on my front axle with a Hobart 135 and Lincoln 135.

If you need to ask that question, I think that you have alot to learn about welding. Make sure if this is the route you are taking, that you learn how to do it before you dig into this project. You dont want to test your welds by rolling your shiat.

Um, why'd you have to weld it twice? lol, Did that first one not hold?

Not likely. I could build a safe cage with that welder. Learn to weld first, then weld the stuff that your life depends on.

If you wonder if you should buy a little welder, the answer is no. There will be a day when you want to painlessly weld something thicker than 0.125. Buy the biggest welder you can. Being disapointed with your tools is not fun.

Friend helped me start it at his house since he has the equipment to cut 1" plate. I tacked it (with his Lincoln) and finished it up at home with my Hobart 135 (which is the same damn thing, I just paid $200 for mine and he paid $500 for his).

Nice one jackass. :flipoff2:

It's obvious you've never used a 135 amp MIG. Run your gums when you figure out what you're talking about. :flipoff2:
