OK... QA1 coils aren't happy with jumping or rally racing... The stiffer springs ride are too harsh and the softer rate springs tend to sag after a few runs... and I like to jump and beat my rig. What I came up with (correct me if i'm wrong peoples).. the QA1 spring aren't really a progressive rate coil like coils you'd find on stock factory rides like 4 runners, cherokee's, sidekicks ect... The QA1 coil takes a hard impact, soaks it up and then bounces back making your rig bouncy unless you got really really nice shocks. (the doestech are good for the rocks but they don't like air and speed) So the solution I came up with... I went to the junkyard and pulled the coils off of a suzuki sidekick with ifs up front. (Using the same brackets I lost 2" of lift from 14" 175 qa1's, and gained about an 1" of down travel.) Front springs to front, rear springs to rear. I had to adapt the brackets to fit the wider coils. Now the ride is like a factory suv ride. It soaks up the road really nice, absorbs landings with a progressive absorbtion rather than a stiff bounce. The rear coils can hold a lot of weight as well, fully loaded my tintop hardly sags. So now i'm happy with my coils, but not so happy with my doestech shocks... bilsteing 5150's are next. Hope that helps.

I am also running QA1 coils (150lb/ft) and they are too soft. the hit a lot when running on dunes or over logs.
I am swapping them to progressive springs from Blue Coils, 200/450-13". Unfortunately 150/350 was not available on 13".

But I am worried about the stiffness of them, are someone running such setup???

I'm sure even if its too stiff they'll ride better than the qa1's

I like my ride with the 150's. Just don't hit a 4' hole doing 40 mph.

You can bend a Toy axle on 36's, here's proof. Bent several Sami axles also and so has Sean ( I never jump ) DeVinney. Notice the stuck in the housing axle shaft. Had to cut axle tube off to remove shaft:
