does anybody have a list of drive shaft lengths that came stock on F150's & broncos? I want to do the shackle flip with a front hangers, but start it at the back of the frame and move the front hanger back to get the shackle angle at about 45deg this will move the axle back and down so I was hoping to match the length to a stock drive shaft(2 wheel drive or long box?) just thought if I knew the lengths I could plan out everything before tearing it apart. also the stock bronco rear looks to be a few inches longer than the front so would it be the right lenght for the front when I do the sas ?
thanks for any help

You can do about 6" of lift to the back without any driveshaft mods. Instead of trying to piece togeather a driveshaft using OEM parts, just have the shaft lengthened or shortened. For the front alot depends on lift and how far you want to move the axle foreward. Do it right the first time.

the point isnt just to do the lift but I want to move the axle and springs back a bit for a better departure plus I like to build what i can and "pirate" the rest from some other source. my truck is kind of my hobby and stress relief, if it was just about getting it done and driving I could save up and buy"kits" and pay others to fab or install everything, it would be easier, faster and probably better and even cheaper at times. but if that were the case I wouldn't need to be on these boards. besides the length I need front or back is not set in stone so if I want one 5-8 inches longer and a f150 is 6 inches longer why would I go get mine lengthened??
