Yes I did the search thing and been reading up on all of them. I plan on going with the shackle on the end design that seems like what most people have. My question is how long to make it? Is there a magic length or is it more just make it so that it fits or same length as the drive shaft? My rear driveshaft on my truck is almaost 4 feet long if that makes any difference as well? So lets here what is best.

Try to get it close to the same arc as the driveshaft and keep it high as you can (without reducing your stuff room).
