What is the firing order for the 6 cylinder engines in scouts? Right now it is 1,5,2,6,3,4, is that right? Also are the cylinders numbered starting from the front and going to the back, 1,2,3,4,5,6? Just trying to get it running and it stumbles and backfires. Thought this could be the problem.

Just for future reference, my google search took me about 2 seconds and the walk to get my manual and look it up was about 45, so google wins again!!! :D:D

You could have waited until Thursday and then asked in the jeep forum,:flipoff2: since that is a AMC motor.
