Hey what side is the number one piston on, on a Ford 360 motor?

There are two different firing orders on the 360. Distributor rotates CCW- 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 or 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. As usual ford had a better idea.

# 1 cylinder is passanger side-looking at the front of the engine then 2-3-4, Driver side front of the engine starts 5 then 6-7-8. Number one on the distributor is on the back clip of the distributor cap just before the clip.
