Got a 1992 Exploder whats the nut size (wrench) to take the coil springs out?

It measured 1.100" so I'd guess its 30mm and damn I dont have a deep that size and shop here doesn't have one either.

Is all this shit gonna be metric?

Been a long time since I tore mine apart, but I had to get the weight off the corner I was working on and slide a wrench between the coils. I'm thinking a 1 1/8" did the trick.

Maybe somebody with a fresher memory will be 100% sure.
