I got a question on an 72 bronco i'm trying to put a np435 in it, my orignal plan was to put the 435 out of a 75 1/2 ton ford that had a np205 married to it. My plan was to swap the whole thing, today i put it in and realized it may not be as economical as I thought. the front driveline angle changed enough that it will probably try to spit out u-joints (at full flex) and the drivline will also hit the header collector flange and I am going to have to find another t-case yoke (already have 1), and the rear driveline will have to be shortned. I really wanted to keep the dana 20 in the first place. You gotta realize I am a broke collage student looking for the cheapest way to go about things so what I am asking is anybody know a cheap 435 to dana 20 swap sombody told me that a half ton ford with a 435 that was married to a single speed t-case might bolt up.
thanx for looking

Joe,
I don't believe there are any NP435s that will bolt directly to an EB D20. You need an adapter (Advance sells them) between the NP435 and the D20. Those run around $500 new unfortunately.

I've never seen them that low. The NP435 to D20 adapter from Advance is $442.58 plus shipping. See here. (https://eshop.advanceadapters.com/commerce/catalog/product.jsp?product_id=1416&czuid=1104520174375)

I've been searching today and the 435 to the single speed won't fit the holes are 1/4" different. I shouldn't need a new output shaft they're both 28 spline.
I just looked at bc and just the adapter plate is 250 plus I have to locate and spend cash on a 6 cylinder adapter

I run 435/205 out of 78 bronco in my 75 I use mustang shorty headers mod. to clear with both sides coming down pass side. I fabbed new cross member and use stock frt driveshaft and had to shorten rear driveshaft 3" this is all with about 2" home built suspension lift and 2" body lift and only problems I have had was making cross member strong enough. this was orignally street driven truck and it all worked great now it is strickly trail beater and still works great
