I have one, it welds clean and nice, but the duty cycle sucks, and mine has had some problems like a failed computer board and intermitant cutoff happens for some reason. A new warranteed unit is probly ok, but make sure it wasn't remanafactured. And don't buy one used, unless it costs less than 200 bills.

I purchased on a few years agofor $400 and have since converted to sheilding gas .It works great but as mentioned in the previous post the duty cycle sucks . If you stay with flux core you can realistically weld up to 5/16 though i have welded up to 3/8 . Converting to gas I have found that i can barely weld 1/4 at times . I considered upgrading to a 175 but when i compared the specs between the two welders they were the same :shaking:
