Hello,
What should I run on a 53' Willys pick-up with a 350 chevy, SM420 trany and dana 44's? (I would like to be able to tuck 36's or 37's Swampers)
Leaf springs or coils? and what kind of Leaf springs or Coils?
Any advice is greatly apperciated.
Thank You.

How much are you willing to spend?
What kind of flex do you want?
What do you wheel?

More info would be nice :p

sorry about the lack of info Matt.
I live in California so i go wheeling at Hollister, Carnegie and any trail I can find around here. I really want a good flex but i want to be able to drive to the places I wheel. I am also on a budget so the price is got to be good.

SOA with YJ Springs (or XJ or Waggy) will be the quickest easiest setup. With high steer, it is hard to screw up the on road performance as well.

If you have time and fab skills, a link suspension with coilovers will work better offroad. It is much easier to screw this up if you don't know what you are doing.

SOA - keep the stock springs in the rear - pull every other leaf. Up front - Front Wagoneer or Rear CJ springs - reverse shackle mount preferred.
